Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention

This site contains information on CASP’s activities, conferences, and a list of resources for survivors of suicide.  It also offers links to crisis intervention services for Canada and the US.  CASP is not a crisis intervention service.

Centre for Addiction and Mental Health

This site has a wealth of information on addictions and mental health, including publications, public policies, and research. 

Canadian Mental Health Association

This site has great information on mental health and mental illness.  There is information relating to all age ranges. This is the national site for CMHA.  From here you can connect to the websites of your local CMHA, or at least find the location of the local branch.

Baton Rouge Crisis Intervention Centre

The Baton Rouge Crisis Intervention Centre has been in operation for over 30 years.

They offer Prevention, Intervention and Postvention services to provide support and reduce the impact of suicide on the community.

There is some interesting information about the BRCIC’s programming and services, including lots of helpful information and tips for people dealing with or helping others deal with loss.
